Commonly used as a desktop application development language, Objective-C has not gained a lot of traction as a web development language. Originally created by Brad Cox and Tom Love in the early 1980s, Objective-C was designed to add SmallTalk style messaging and true Object Oriented programming to the C language. Objective-C provides native, compiled speed combined with easy-to-read code and project management.
We at Sensical are still working on our Objective-C Web Application Framework. Feel free to contact us for more information.
With this technology, you must choose the proper platform to host from, but in exchange, you can achieve the fastest processing speed compared to interpreted languages. Objective-C applications can be deployed on Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows using the Apache Web Server or IIS.
